KOINOS
SEMINARS GROUPED AROUND THE THEME OF RADICAL CHRISTIANITY

How would Jesus evaluate what happens in twenty-first century American churches? What about the level of twenty-first century American discipleship?

The learning events described below could be the catalysts for God bringing transformation. They are rated "P" for powerful.

Would you like to see dates on which the following seminars are currently being offered?

Current KOINOS Radical Christianity seminars include:

Reversing the Religious Culture--What Might Jesus Have Meant by the Beatitudes?
Too many Christians see these statements as little more than a pile of polite spiritual mush. Jesus intended them to revolutionize first and twenty-first century culture.

The Sermon on the Mount--Did Jesus Mean What He Said?

"Love your enemies!" "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect!" "When you fast . . ." "Don't worry!" "Don't judge." Why has the church softened Jesus' challenges?

Differences between Churchianity and Kingdom Living
Is your church a model evangelical Christian social club or a strong unit of Jesus' people helping to establish God's Kingdom? God's Kingdom is not yet fully here, but it is here in fact. Would visitors to your church experience your interaction as a taste of the Kingdom here and now?

The Emerging Church--A New Model for the Young and Strange, or Are There Lessons in This Pattern for All of Us?

You have heard some rumors of a new way of churching. You will be glad when this fad passes. But what if "the emerging church" is a move of God's Spirit? You can keep on doing church in the great tradition of the 1980's or you can be on the cusp of the church truly reaching out.

For more information on these learning events, contact Dr. Phil Bence at the KOINOS office (206-546-5446 or koinos@verizon.net)
