SEMINARS GROUPED AROUND THE THEME OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY

Would you like to learn more about serving God both in the church and in the surrounding community? Perhaps you would like help in educating and training lay people in your congregation for the ministry to which God has call them.

The following seminars (individually or in a series of your choosing) focus on the equipping of all God's people for service in his Kingdom.

Would you like to see dates on which the following seminars are currently being offered?

Would you like to see books KOINOS staff members recommend to accompany each of these seminars?

CONTEMPORARY EVANGELISM – A learning event that offers Christians basic principles that enable Christians (without fear and guilt) to share their faith in a postmodern, post-Christian culture.

APPLIED APOLOGETICS
– Learn how to answer the twelve most-asked questions about the Christian faith in a way that you can easily remember and comfortably use in everyday conversations!

RIGHT AND WRONG, THEN AND NOW (Christian Ethics)—Our relationship with Jesus does impact the choices we make each day, doesn’t it?

CHRISTIANITY IN TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONS—(Christianity and the Media: Artistic and Technical)—The creative God put together beautiful works of art. The creative people he made, through craft and technology, have followed in the pattern God established. How can we today best employ the arts and the media for God’s purposes?

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP—In one sense, every church member is a leader, for all Christians influence other people. How can we all become more purposeful and effective about the leadership we offer?

MINISTRY ON THE JOB—How do Christians minister outside the church, in the ‘marketplace’ where most are called to serve?  What does it mean to be disciple of Jesus Monday to Friday, on the job?

GROWING TOGETHER—Christ calls his disciples to be disciplers—a look at how we can help other Christians deepen their relationship with Jesus.

GLOBAL CHRISTIANS—Jesus founded his church. Now his Good News has spread to the ends of the earth, and Christians from Asia, Africa, and Latin America are coming as missionaries to America. How can we as individuals and congregations get in step with what the Spirit is doing around the world?
